St. Joe Beach Information The area commonly referred to as St. Joe Beach stretches from just west of Port St. Joe to Beacon Hill, which is located just east of Mexico Beach. Most of this area is protected from high surf and associated beach erosion by the protection of St. Joseph Peninsula, which along with the mainland defines the shoreline of St. Joseph Bay. Windmark BeachLocated within this area are several new developments, the largest of which is a St. Joe development known as Windmark Beach. True Coastal CommunityThe St. Joe Beach area is a true coastal community, as no property is more than a few blocks from the water's edge. Although a good number of vacation rental homes are available in this area, many residents live here year-round and many have lived here for decades.
